Marketing is the best way to get the word out. Right from the “Hutch pup” to the Zoo Zoos to every other marketing initiative, every single company / organization wants to spread the word and make business through creative modes. Religion is also propagated in the same manner. Caught up in the race of adding more people to a particular belief, new methods to get the word out there is on.
Conversion to religion starts right from school days, if you join a Christian missionary you are sure not to have missed a church mass, if it is a school run by Hindus then you would never miss reciting the shlokas and so on and so forth. What starts there, goes on and on…I have met people on a bus who start conversations and by the end of it hand over a booklet and address to a place where you can find “peace”. Then comes the age when you are a heap of confusion and “GOD” is the only way out…you have classmates/roommates and their family showing concern which then slowly turns you into the path of taking up another route to reach God. Then you fall in love! With a person of another religion, parents will oppose, but what the hell, its LOVE! A time comes for marriage and a shocker is delivered that you are forced to take up the faith your would-be partner practices and then the thread leads to what the children will practice…never mind. Coming back to using vehicles as a propagator of religion.
Isnt it an excellent method?? I have seen numerous vehicles which exhibit the name of the religion, what it can do to you and the benefits. In short – the whole business plan is out there. The visibility it gets is awesome; I wonder what the response has been.

You know you are a super woman when…..
* You make your to-do list while in the traffic signal
* You make your groceries list while waiting in the queue to the toilet
* You make calls to your well wishers while in transit
* You keep asking if Bangalore One is open on weekends and after 8 pm
* You keep your groomer grumbling for coming late ALWAYS
* You always self medicate first, then go to the doctor when work gets hindered
* You cancel doctors appointment and try your own medication AGAIN
* You use your child’s / dog’s help to fetch things from around the house
* You brush your teeth while standing under the shower
* You shape your nails while sitting in the car
The list is never ending, will update it as and when things cross my mind

Why the Swami romped.
This whole Nityananda Swami sex scandal has created such uproar within the community and in the minds of his believers. I really don’t understand why people had to do this to themselves?? In all probability I think the people are itself responsible for this. Its more like the “aa behl mujhe maar”. The man starts preaching, people blindly follow, people waste time money and energy on him and he reaps the benefits. If you notice, he never tells he is God. It’s the followers stupidity to believe that he is avatar of God with no human urges.
Come-on it’s his life, he has urges too! Just cos people have put a tag of “god” to his name doesn’t mean he can’t do what he wants! He has the right to do thing his way…and yes if he was irresponsible by not living up to the “God” tag then it’s the followers fault – they chose the wrong “God-Man”. Simple :)

My dogs are not trained :)
My life revolves around my 2 dogs…and everyday I discover new things about them. Like every woman would agree, that you learn something about your man everyday. I experience the same when it comes to my dogs. Both my darlings are not trained by any professional. Though I always wanted to get them onto a professional training, it never happened. Cleo (the Labrador) and Cassey (the Golden Retriever) are just so happy by the way they are and so am I. Luckily I have been able to lay the basic foundation of training such as teaching them commands “Sit” “No” “Move” etc. Cleo is one unruly dog and she is capable of stealing Marley’s crown for “World’s Worst Dog”. But giving it a 2nd thought, who decides if a dog is “the best” or “the worst”???
Personally Iam so happy with the way my dogs are, people who don’t like dogs, may stay out. Simple funda isn’t it? Than coming to my house and shrieking, screaming and swearing at my dogs, its better not to come. I respect the fact that the guest is scared of dogs and the guest respects the fact that I love my dogs too much to chain them up. Iam so comfy about the fact that my dogs are happy. I just wudnt have liked it if my dog was this over-intelligent thing that would “stay” in one place while I gorge on the pizza. With my dog, I call it adventure eating, you constantly save the food from being eaten up by her. She is living her life to the fullest, doing thing she wud never have done if she was a trained one. Iam aware that trained dogs keep out of danger and can be put to use such as fetching the newspaper and remote control…but my dogs are part of my family, not servants or objects. She is the life of our house! I wud miss the crashing noises, unnecessary barks and all that.
Or….may be I like it that way cos Iam unruly…myself :)
