Religion Religion..which one do I choose...

Marketing is the best way to get the word out. Right from the “Hutch pup” to the Zoo Zoos to every other marketing initiative, every single company / organization wants to spread the word and make business through creative modes. Religion is also propagated in the same manner. Caught up in the race of adding more people to a particular belief, new methods to get the word out there is on.

Conversion to religion starts right from school days, if you join a Christian missionary you are sure not to have missed a church mass, if it is a school run by Hindus then you would never miss reciting the shlokas and so on and so forth. What starts there, goes on and on…I have met people on a bus who start conversations and by the end of it hand over a booklet and address to a place where you can find “peace”. Then comes the age when you are a heap of confusion and “GOD” is the only way out…you have classmates/roommates and their family showing concern which then slowly turns you into the path of taking up another route to reach God. Then you fall in love! With a person of another religion, parents will oppose, but what the hell, its LOVE! A time comes for marriage and a shocker is delivered that you are forced to take up the faith your would-be partner practices and then the thread leads to what the children will practice…never mind. Coming back to using vehicles as a propagator of religion.

Isnt it an excellent method?? I have seen numerous vehicles which exhibit the name of the religion, what it can do to you and the benefits. In short – the whole business plan is out there. The visibility it gets is awesome; I wonder what the response has been.

  1. Religion is like a club.. society makes you want to be part of the club. You don't question about the existence, its there and that's that.
